Dear Palm Beach County Residents:

Welcome to the Health Care District! We are your health care safety-net, approved and funded by you, the residents and taxpayers of Palm Beach County.
During this unprecedented time, your forethought to establish our organization in 1988 has prepared our community to face this pandemic swiftly. In March 2020, the Health Care District mobilized early to help meet the need for COVID-19 testing countywide and it continues. In partnership with Palm Beach County, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and the State of Florida, the Health Care District is administering COVID-19 vaccines.
Per state guidelines, effective April 5th, all Floridians are eligible to receive any COVID-19 vaccine as authorized by the Food and Drug Administration. At this time, the Health Care District is only offering the Pfizer and Moderna brand vaccines. Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) is not being offered at our vaccination sites.
Pfizer is authorized for 16 years of age and older, while Moderna is authorized for 18 years of age and older. Persons 16 or 17 years of age must choose only a date offering the Pfizer brand (as it becomes available it will be shown in the table below). A parent or guardian must be present at the appointment.
Please refer to the table below for the schedule of first dose appointments for through Saturday April 17th (all appointments are booked):
Update: All available appointments are currently booked. Please check back frequently as the appointment scheduler will re-open when more vaccine becomes available.

In addition to responding to this community crisis, your Health Care District is grateful to be able to serve as your medical home for primary care, to ensure that life-saving trauma services are available in our county, provide school nurses in our county public schools, care for our rural communities at Lakeside Medical Center, and provide long-term care at the Healey Center. Please see www.hcdpbc.org to learn more about your Health Care District.
On behalf of our Board of Commissioners and our more than 1,300 employees, it is our honor and privilege to be here for you!
